Getting here

From Portland:

  • Take Hwy 26 east through Sandy and continue for approximately 20 miles.
  • Continue on Hwy 26 through the cities of Brightwood, Welches and Rhododendron.
  • Travel 4 miles past Rhododendron to Kiwanis Camp Road (aka: Road 39).  Kiwanis Camp Road is just past mile marker 48.5 and is on the left (so you will want to be in the left lane).  To the right of Hwy 26, directly across from the road, you will see “Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp” and “Elevation 2500 feet” signs.  Turn left.
  • Proceed down road 1/2 mile.  Paradise Trail Lodge will be the first building on your right.
